L. David Perry, MD FCP

Dr. Perry received his undergraduate degree in Microbiology from the University of Alabama. He then attended medical school at the University of South Florida. Upon completing his undergraduate medical degree, he returned to Alabama for his Pediatric Residency at the Children's Hospital of Alabama in Birmingham, AL. After completing his pediatric residency, he moved to Knoxville, TN and was in practice there for 22 years. In the summer of 2021, Dr. Perry and his family moved back to Alabama, joining Pediatric Healthcare in Montgomery, AL.
While in Knoxville, TN Dr. Perry served on the Board of the St. Mary’s Legacy Clinic, a mobile medical clinic that’s mission was to go out into rural Appalachia to provide care for the poor and medically underserved. While on the board, Dr. Perry was the chairman of the Medical Quality Committee, and he was also responsible for presenting the medical ethics lecture that all volunteers and employees of the clinic were required to attend. He has been a member of the American College of Pediatricians for eight years and is the author of the College’s position statement regarding the harmful effects of pornography on children and families.
Dr. Perry is very committed to the promotion of the nuclear family as the essential building block of a heathy society. Dr. Perry is married and has two daughters in college and two sons in high school. He enjoys being active in his Christian community, family time, running, reading, and fishing.
